招收材料加工工程（080503）、材料工程（05601）、机械设计及理论（学术型）和机械（专业型）专业硕士研究生4名。

主要开展异种金属层状复合材料的先进制备工艺及理论研究，包括脉冲电流辅助成形工艺研究、微观组织结构表征与力学性能研究、金属塑性变形的有限元模拟、微观组织演变的分子动力学模拟研究。

本研究团队主持多项国家级项目和企业合作项目，研究经费充足，团队导师配置合理。鼓励发表高水平论文，参加国内外学术会议。
